Yeah, I'm very much against driver distractions. IMO drivers are so coddled these days that the outside world starts to seem like a video game, with little or no consequences for lack of skill or attention.
If the UK is civilized enough to have banned food/drink while driving, no doubt you've also banned use of cellphones, nagging wives, screaming kids, ... < g >
