Title:
Insert commas in the output of a SELECT-SQL command
I have SQL command which returns the character value of a numeric file STR(A,10,0). A can be from 1 to 999999999. I would like to display as 1234567 as 1,234,567. If I use TRANSFORM(STR(A,10,0),'@R '9,999,999,999;) I get extra commas, i.e 1234 is displayed as ' , , 1,234'. Is it possible to get rid of the extra commas? If so what is the correct syntax for the TRANSFORM command or if it is the wrong command what is the correct command.
