Thanks for your replies. I am having the QUIT problem while in the Command window, just developing and testing--not while running a compiled app. I CLOSE and CLEAR everything in sight, but it still will not exit. I've been coding in FoxPro since 1990 and xBase before that, but I have just begun with VFP. This flavor of Fox is very different!
