What problems you have with built-in RI code?
Since VFP6 I've never had such problems. But you must be sure that indexes you use exactly match the fields. You can't use a complex index in your RI procedures. When I did this I always had to go through generated RI code and delete all unnecessary information there and had to be sure that SET EXACT is OFF
