The raw material in such cases is ugly, but then you got to admire the guys who made it work back then.
OTOH, it does give you the pleasure of playing Pygmalion with it. Well, maybe. The last time I was offered a chance to play with such a beast I had to refuse - it looked like at least three months of work, and the guy offered incredible $800.
