The last 2.6 application I worked on was one that I developer in the mid 90's and it did a terrific job and made the company an awfull lot of money. At the time, I used genscrnx with several drivers (Steve Black's "Tabs" driver springs to mind) and a few third party libraries. It did some incredible processing given its timeline. However, irrespective of how good I feel the application was, the thought of going back to it makes me shudder :)

So, kudos to you for boldy going with this venture - I am really pleased that you have some gainfull employment to keep you out of mischief :)
