I think I need a software fire wall on my notebook. I used to use ZA 4.0 which was good. But then when they went to version 5.0 I heard some horror stories of things not working. So I never upgraded to 5.0. Then when I bought my new notebook I didn't install any firewall. I have McAfee AV, that's all. And I don't want to upgrade to the new version of McAfee because I saw a couple of messages on UT about problems with VS2005 and McAfee.
So I am considering buying ZoneAlarm 5.0 but wanted to know if they fixed the problems.
