It's been over 10 years since I messed with it - but it was pretty easy to understand - you shouldn't have any problems figuring it out.
There is also a shareware gizmo you get can for like 20 bucks that converts the data to text files ...

...and, as someone else has pointed out, there IS an ODBC driver avail for it too.
