Check the setting of SET DEVELOPMENT in your IDE. The default is ON. If it's set to OFF you will get the behavior you describe.

>In the past few weeks, I suddenly find I have to explicitly compile prgs in order to run them in the IDE. Otherwise, I find I'm running the previous version. The 'compile before saving' option is on, so I don't know what's going on.
