Hi John:

The software does not contact eTecnologia.net without your permission only with your permission. And the validation only checks if the current version has been superseded.

The demo validates itself asking for your permission to contact www.eTecnologia.net. This validation can be delayed by 15 minutes if you answer no.

After 15 minutes it will ask for your permission again to validate, if you answer no, you'll have to restart VFP to run the demo again.

Of course the licensed version does not contact eTecnologia.net. You are fully in charge, it is let to you to be sure your users run the most up to date version.

Taking your needs into consideration, .Net Extender seems a good fit. Other companies are using it in a similar way, this is, to interface with their own .NET libraries and third party libraries.

Also there is no way to contact the company or is there any name to be found as to who wrote it. The fact that the demo copy calls home every time you start VFP also worries me.
