That would shock me. Not that things haven't shocked me before but I think Obama is in this race to win. I also think there is more than the usual amount of antipathy between the two camps. They make nice on the surface, with occasionally chilly signals they want us to notice, but don't you get the sense they really don't care for one another? According to Newsweek the Clinton campaign has been leaning hard on potential donors to give money to Hillary and only Hillary, and if you aren't for us early you shouldn't expect much more than free mouthwash. The joke may be on them. The Clinton campaign has been counting on their early war chest of money and the presumption of her being the nominee but it isn't quite working out that way. Obama took in more money than she did in the first quarter, lots of it grassroots donations way below the donation maximum. He has struck a chord among many of us who were getting cynical. Check out the news photos of crowd scenes. I really think it's going to be Obama.
>He's auditioning to be Hillary's running mate.

>Now please God give us Rudy and Conde. Boy would that be an election!

>>>If you want to see a politician compressing a complex issue into a sound bite for personal gain, read Obama's speech that day.

>>I couldn't believe Obama compared the VT shootings with jobs going over seas and the Imus statements. Great way to trivialize the victims of VT shooting.

>>The more he talks the more I understand why his handlers try keep him under wrap.
