I suspected when you referred to someone taking depression medicine you were thinking of yourself. And when I said if need to draw the line there then so be it, I can understand your protest. Now the thing is, I'm sure you're a rational, affable guy, and wouldn't go out on a shooting spree, but people can't know everyone's mind. On the death penalty, they say something like "Better that 100 guilty men are let off and/or set free than one innocent man hang." Well, in a similar way, better that 100 sane people with a history of depression are deprived of guns than one head-the-ball with a history get hold of one and go on a spree. That's why I'd draw the line.
