Just an FYI for the future ... whenever I run into something like this I bring up the designer and then hit CTRL+A to select ALL objects. Then I look around for something "hidden" that is selected.
>I've recreated the report and was able to eliminate most of empty spaces. I also found a hidden object in the group footer placed to increase the band height for certain groups.
