It was on the "Now Show" on Radio 4 where they said that, like us in 1977, the French may soon be getting their 1st female leader. Or they may be getting their 1st fascist leader - again like us in 1977 :-)
>Yes it looks like the right winger Sarkozy will win. I know a lot of French people feel their employment protection laws have helped create unemployment especially amongst young people. A measure of his right wing appeal is thatthe FN (LePen) vote has declined a lot.
