There have actually been three completely different versions of Fleetwood Mac, with only the rhythm section of Mick Fleetwood and John McVie remaining constant. They started out as a blues band headed by a guy named Peter Green. Well, not exactly a blues band, more like blues songs with rock & roll guitar leads.
