It's astounding to me that you would post this. But then again, I was astounded by Walter's declaration.

You'll let a statement like "I'm convinced we should be so arrogant in proclaiming that we are one of the few who knows how to handle data" pass. In the same way that Walter used to reply to JVP's posts with that "internet troll alert" siren, I guess I should first reply to any post from you by first asking whether you're indeed serious, or "just after a spirited debate".

Since you're very fond of transportation analogies, here's one for you that applies to the subject of speaking with some level of authority on a topic - you can learn how to drive a car by reading some online articles....or you can also get behind the wheel and take some drives. You can learn how to play baseball by reading "The Art of Slugging" by a famous jock....or you can also pick up a bat.
