Hello All,

I've created an app that allows the usser to drag out of a rich text box into a list box. The values in the rtb stay in their place an in the list box I enter a substring statement. I also change the colors of the text selected in the rtb from black to red. I have also set the property locked to true so the text can be highlighted but not edited or changed.

What I am trying to do right now, unsuccessfully (hence the question) is to verify that if the user selects another section of from the RTB, that all the characters selected are black and not red. Thusly preventing overruns in the substring statements.

The selcolor,selstart & sellength all refer to the the entire string highlighted, is there a way to examine each character's color separately??
