>We have an application that gets updated on a monthly basis and is sent to many clients. We send the update as an Installshield EXE which is run one time and places updated EXEs on a network file server. We use a loader program on each workstation which checks for new versions of our EXEs and copies them down to the local machine if they need updating. We are testing our application in Vista and it is not working since we can't delete the EXEs and copy down the updated EXEs with Vista's default security settings. Has anyone come up with a way around this that doesn't involve changing Vista's default security settings? Can we somehow make our loader program be an installer program as far as Windows is concerned?

If your loader is a VFP EXE, your application can be an APP.
