I'm stumped on this one--but it does sound familiar...did you experience this once before? We've got quite a few folks working on Vista (including me <s>) so if you have UAC turned off then Vista isn't the issue. Are there any types of MM .NET projects you can create? All that's happening during project creation is files are being copied from one directory to another and Visual Studio automation is used to add references, etc.

What version of MM .NET are you using?
