The system would be deployed as a 3 tier system

.net Winforms Presentation layer (MM)

.net ???? Data access Layer / Middle tier (MM)

Oracle 10g Database

I am coming from the VFP 9.0 world with MTS COM + objects on the Middle tier But is this the way to deploy using .net???

I am embracing .net 3.0 / 3.5 ???

We are a MM 2.4 shop
