Unless I missed something, the article deals with the INFORMATION_SCHEMA views only. These views expose a lot of useful metadata but not the actual view SELECT statement. I'm going to explore the sys.??? views next. If I figure it out, I'll send you the method although probably no one else in the world cares about getting this particular info from the back end!
