It *seemed* to work, anyway :) I never got too far along testing since a confluence of _screen difficulties pushed me to top-level at that point...and once I moved to top-level, I'd never go back to main _screen again...

Yes, I recall now :) The Paint method wasn't as bad as first thought back then, but it wasn't real great, either. Kind of intuitively unappealing, anyway. Well, good luck on the timer method...
