Hi Hilmar

Indeed a scary proposition, atleast here, where taxes are percentages of percentages, for eg. manufacturers have Central Excise which is 16% of the produce. Upon which there is Education Cess of 2% (of Central Excise) + Secondary & Higher Education Cess of 1% (of Central Excise!!!). Followed by Central / State Sales Tax or VAT. This is not to mention other additions or deductions as per company policy.
