I still can't figure out how to encrypt/decrypt the database connection string in the app.config file. I have created a subclass of mmAppConfiguration which calls SetEncryption("databases/Northwind\Connection", "key") but it doesn't do anything. I initiate this subclass in app.vb (Public Class AppDesktop) which may be the problem. I noticed that several other people have asked the same question but I cannot find an answer anywhere. Could you please provide some sample code for a newby to .NET?
