Wrong guy. I'm the one working on the Java project. And I wouldn't call it struggling. There were issues in the beginning because the company hired a firm to do create the apps that wasn't qualified.

But there is an entirely new crew in place and the past mistakes are being fixed.

And for the record, I haven't seen any issues due to "Java not being able to do the work". We seem to be able to verify data in Java and send crud statements to SQL Server just fine. There are still some things with SPs used during reporting that need to be optimized.
