Dooood, I'm getting a Dell... on thursday hopefully, the day before i leave for Nawlins Jazzfest. What flavor of Vista did you go with? Installer issues is my biggest concern. Have you bothered or been forced to re-work any app installer routines? The Dell rep phone call was interesting. The guy pushed the "why do u want Vista?" speil big time. Couldnt believe it. Said they were told to go thru the 'push XP' motions due to the no-return policy on OS issues. I feel like i bought undercoating for a new car cuz he sold me on a faster processer and RAM. Viva la buyers remorse.
