Once again (for like the 4th time now), are you working with the beta?

It's a demeaning, loaded question, Kevin. I've made comments about it and advised others to look at it. Now you're asking whether I've done so myself, and pursuing the issue relentlessly by your own admission while refusing to engage the technical questions I ask you.

So here's my precise answer: Yes, I have. And now I've moved on to consider open source options in the same fashion.

OK?

Now what about Anders' comments? Do you disagree with him, or are you refusing to engage because you feel it might make you look stupid? It won't- there's nothing wrong with changing your mind in the face of new evidence- in fact, if you're a scientist that's exactly what you're supposed to do. I've done it myself in this discussion- people have cited examples where sometimes you do have to offer semaphore/account reservation and I've altered my hypothetical NET strategy to encompass that. I don't think anybody thought that was stupid of me apart from the usual you-know-who who only ever attacks. So come on... what do you think of Anders' comments?
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
