Well, did you see the part/s about in-memory processing? Until now, in-memory processing has been seen as undesirable in NET because "it's best" to do it in a SP. You've said it yourself. Are you still firmly adherent to that thinking or are you able to engage other possibilities?

Yes, I read it. I also recall you previously believing that there was an implication of auto-spanning. When MS comes out and explicitly states that they are modifying the .NET framework to support auto-spanning - then I'll believe it.

You're correct - I have zero opinion on whether it gets in. But I am curious why you feel so strongly that statements from MS imply that it's a high priority, especially since most whom I talk to are against the practice.

It is still early in the game for Linq to SQL - but in looking at some of the SQL code generated by LINQ to SQL, I still believe that stored procedures are a better starting point. (That was part of the reason i wanted to know if you'd been working with either the CTP or the Beta, but since you consider such questions "demeaning"...)

You claim you just want to "share technology ideas"...I've been trying to find out if you're using the CTP or beta for anything, and you claim the question is demeaning. Keep in mind that you're the one who previously tried to make this about me. (or do I need to dig up prior modified posts?) <s>
