Sorry if this is a novice question, but this is giving me fits. I have a combo box control on my form. I want the inital value of the combo box to be the underlying value of the field behind the box. I then want the user to have a pre-determined set of choices to change the value to. I am having problems displaying the value of the field in the combo box initially and I also want the choice of the user to be saved as the new value of the field.

Example - 3 accounts, one with a status code of 'active' one with 'cancelled' one with 'archive'. if I go to record 2 the initial value 'cancelled' is displayed in the first value of the combo box, but if I want to change it, I go click on the box and I have 3 choices, 'active', 'cancelled' and 'archive'. If I chose archive, it replaces 'cancelled' with 'archive' in record 2.
