I can't seem to get filters to work in a local (.rdlc) report.
In particular I am trying to filter a field that (sometimes) returns '*12B1' in two table groups, one with that value and one with all other values.

I tried using the '*' as a wildcard (as opposed to '%') escape character. It doesn't work and I'm suspicious that character as part of the string I'm trying to filter is the problem.

Any help appreciated.
