We had exactly the same symptoms with Windows 95 on the workstation. Microsoft has a knowledge base article about this. It is article ID Q140036. When we applied this fix in the system.ini file it solved our problem. A previous reply to your post used this method but that reply did not capitalize [IFSMGR] as instructed in the knowledge base article. Maybe that is the problem, or maybe Windows 98 needs a similar but different entry in the system.ini file. By the way, we use 5 for the value of PrintBufTime and have no problems.
