Thanks, I'll take a look at that article. I tried your example, and looked at the help on the subject some more. I now get an error when trying the configuration security section. It says: The entry 'AspNetSqlMembershipProvider' has already been added. (h:\My Documents\Visual Studio 2005\WebSites\WebSite1\web.config line 72). That line is where I have the line:

<add name="AspNetSqlMembershipProvider"

I'll check out that article on the 4guys site.
