But seriously, you used to go out shooting, without your parents' concent or knowledge, at 14?

Now THERE IS a reason to deny adolescents the gun. Now YOU may have been very mature and responsible, but I wouldn't trust half of the snot-nosed, baseball cap wearing, feckless ne'er-do-wells I see shuffling the streets, with a popgun, never mind a shotgun!
