Either When return .f. or set the column enabled = .f.

I don't remember if VFP9 introduced GotFocus for the grid, but in prior versions I used container approach for that, e.g. I place grid into the container and used its GotFocus/LostFocus.

What exactly do you mean by skipping a column, BTW?
