Just to give you a little more background information, the SET DELETED command is scoped to the local data session (for a list of all commands scoped locally, see the topic "SET DATASESSION" in the Visual FoxPro help file).

The class that controls SET commands that are scoped to the local data session is CSessionEnvironment. If you have upgraded to Mere Mortals v3.02 you will see information in the Developer's Guide and "What's New" guide that discusses setting the Visual FoxPro SET commands.
