I agree with your points. But in addition, after using Vista here at work for several months, I have come to the conclusion that it sucks. Several times a day it freezes up for two or three minutes. And at least once a day I have restart it. Vista seems to slow down the longer it is running. I have had to turn off all the visual enhancement (classic windows mode) in order to do basic things in VFP. But still, when openning a Open File dialog still takes several seconds (up to 30 seconds).

I am sure that given time (like I did with XP) that these issues will be addressed. But at the time, I would recommend it to a client.

>I really like the thumbnails. I don't like the new look of the Windows Explorer however, too confusing to my taste. I can't make my mind that the little triangles have replaced the good old +/- in the treeview and that they appear only when you hover the mouse over it.

>>Been playing with Vista some more and I must give credit where credit is due - the visual effects are quite amazing. The application window panning/scrolling, Aero theme, application preview thumbnails, and other visual effects are quite impressive. Great for customer demos :)
