Hi Tracy

Since the winter was milder in the NorthEast this year, they were able to switch over to gasoline production earlier in the year. This should have meant that gas prices would not go as high this summer, but luckily the big oil companies engineered some plant production problems and we are back into their sweet spot. (This is the maximum price Americans will pay without conserving).

I actually think it's helpful, you need several years of high prices to make alternative fuels and technologies competitive, and I think we are near that tipping point.
