You did not have to pay to access any forum, or use any of the tools, that the forums provided. Access to archives and search engines were (and are) completely free.

This sort of attitude is precisely why I don't waste my time here and if you have anything else to say about me, then I suggest you say it to me personally and not behind my back here.

>>>Somehow you and Eric den Doop and perhaps several other people as well have a negative attitude towards this forum and therefore deject all references to UT solutions posted on other boards considering them advertising and even ban people for referencing solutions from this forum by providing direct links.

Nick;

I can only guess! By using my imagination based upon a number of “episodes” on the UT, one might write a book about dysfunctional personalities!

Now, by having Microsoft employees join discussions on the UT, does that constitute some type of infringement by Microsoft representing its products?

I do think that this whole soap opera is overblown. Some people are neurotic about specific things and you cannot attempt to rationalize with them and expect to reach common ground.

From what I saw from Naomi, she gave credit to Sergey and the UT for an answer to a question. I guess that some forums only accept “approved solutions”, and attempting to help others is not appreciated or acceptable unless the moon is in the correct phase.

By the way, I am sending you a personal message, in the attempt to reduce thread drift! :)

Tom
