I was talking to a Russian guy at a client's site today and mentioned you and Naomi. I think Naomi is Russian and I thought you were, but I looked up your last name and showed it to him and he correctly guessed Yugoslavia (yes, now something different). It turned out I also knew a Russian programmer here (Atlanta, GA) that is a friend of his wife.
