It may be a good time to look at Jethro Tull (until about mid 80s), Pentangle, Melanie (Safka, not the other one), Dresden Dolls, and Bret Empie's former housemate, Xyra. Maybe a bit of Strawbs and ELP (Emerson, Lake and Palmer) as well.
