>Frankly, I see both sides of the issue here. You have access to and memory of lots of UT solutions, so it's understandable that you reference them when you answer questions. OTOH, too many references to other forums might give members the idea that those other forums offer a better resource, thus diminishing the forum you're in.

(BTW, that's my view in general. I know that I learned a lot about using Fox by reading the same or similar solutions over and over back when I started. Having five links to a single message isn't as good as having five different people answer the same question, even if their solution is the same.)

Tamar,

I agree with you. But actually since the warning I posted only one UT solution (copied content) on the question on PDF forms. All other questions were quite simple and I believe I answered them myself without using any resources.

There was a question of centering an image of the report which Frank posted on both forums. I did some research here and I posted some suggestions here. I don't think I actively participated in the foxite discussion on the same problem.

Another particular case with Syah (Adam) was that again he asked the same question on both forums (and he continues to do so, which is completely legitimate, but he rarely responds on both forums) when he asked about protecting a folder.

I did several not really successful google searches for him since I didn't know about Rick's blog on the topic. Jamie Osborne pointed me to it and another resource when I asked him this question in his blog. I didn't re-post my solution in full and I did ask why he uses two different names on both forums just out of curiosity.

I probably slipped few times with references to UT but I repeat, I didn't give a single direct thread link after the warning.

I don't want you to be a judge here or support sides, but I re-state: I didn't break the rules and if in some opinion I did, I tried hard to apologize.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
