They have their own language which is very special, no similarity to Norwegian at all. AFAIK the Sami language is also used by the samis in Sweden and Finnland. Aye, my first instinct was that the language was "Suomi" (I once dated a Finnish girl) but seeing "Sami" i wasn't sure. Sami - we call them Laplanders. We have a similar race here - they're called "The Welsh" (Cymraeg or y Gymraeg from the land of Cymru) :-)
