Some times you wonder about a sports team. Is it the coach, the players, both or some unknown factor? Don Nelson seems to have helped the team while other Warriors coaches did not.
I remember when Wilt Chamberlin scored 100 points. He was a great offensive player but in my opinion not a team player. When Chamberlin went against the Celtics, Bill Russell (my favorite basketball player), held him to 12 points.
It really helps to have a team effort to win consistently. Having one or two superstars is fine but a team that is motivated can do well.
I have been watching the Warriors since they moved to San Francisco. They have had a few good moments but have lacked something to go the distance.
Sometimes the front office has gotten in the way of the Warriors. Over the years a few players managed to disrupt the entire team and some coaches have not done well.
>I didn't watch, just saw the score and saw GS up by 20 with maybe 2 minutes to go.

>Can someone please explain how the league MVP got 8 (that's Eight, in case you think it's a typo) points?

>>Last night, when I said my prayers before bedtime, I asked God to help the Warriors beat the Dallas Mavs.

>>It's nothing personal...I just enjoy seeing the Mavs lose. Just like I enjoy seeing the Cowboys lose, and the Yankees lose. As a matter of fact, I hope Mark Cuban never wins an NBA championship.

>>Well, tonight, the Warriors (my new favorite NBA team) smoked the Mavs. Good times.
>>
>>God is a Warriors fan!!!
