As to whether MS will fix this bug -

This sounds like an issue in the core product. The only way a core product issue will be fixed is if it is addressed in VFP 9 SP2, since it is unlikely there will be any updates to the core product beyond SP2.

Are you running the 2007/02 CTP available at

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=CC84F749-A153-4929-8277-DEB9A2F8B0A5&displaylang=en

If your bug is not fixed by this VFP 9 SP 2 CTP, odds are really poor that it will be fixed by SP2 final release. You can still submit a bug report, but due to the extremely limited resources of the remaining VFP team, good luck...

>Thank you for confirming the issue. It makes me very comfortable to know that in fact, this issue happens not just on my environment.

>And Sergey, I agree with you. Menus shouldn't have that many items on it. However, as I've mentioned before, our application allows users to save certain reports for future re-use.

>Question: Assuming that this is a legit VFP bug, what are the chances that MS will fix this or is this 'last' version of VFP (Sedna) going to have this bug for eternity?

>edit: Naomi, I apologize for the incorrect name in reference to your reply.

>>Yes, I can repro it. It's a bug. Still menu with so meny items is not a good interface design from a user point of view.
