Have had some problems with ActiveXs -- these have to be registered as an Administrator. Had to manually do it via right-click on Command Prompt and select 'Run as Administrator'. Found that if you don't subclass the active-x's (you add the active-x at runtime directly) you can run into this as well when trying to run the main application.
