A Podcast is nothing more than an rss feed you can subscribe to. Instead of serving news, blogentries or webpage changes it serves mp3 or other audio files.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Podcastingsearch for podcatcher or podcast receiver and you should be able to find something else than ITunes/Quicktime to get that podcast.
