If I were to move my app away from VFP in the next 2-3 years, might one consider using Filemaker as a platform?

I just can't stand to think of starting over with Visual Studio, and developing EVERYTHING that my app needs, when maybe a database specifice platform like Filemaker is out there. Is it even close to being able to handle basic to mid-level VFP stuff or not, and what about form development / UI tools?
