I'm removing all my desktop shortcuts and putting them on the QuickLaunch bar. When the last one is moved (and then deleted from the desktop) the background picture disappears and the screen is just the color of what is selected in the Desktop Properties. If the shortcut is dragged back to the desktop, the background picture displays immediately. Whassup with that?!
