Have you tried showing a copy of the file which is set to readonly?
>I use the microsoft web control to display pdf file in a form. I have used the same method to see word and excel file. They have been displayed correctly, but the opened file are not only displayed, i can also modify them. There is a way to display only the file content like with acrobat file. There is a setting that lets to see data and not to modify them. I have tried with ExecWb(7,0,0,0) to force the preview of the file but there is no response from the control. On MSDN i have seen that 7 is the value to call the printpreview option. Can anyone help me with this problem ? or there is some control that lets to see data of office documents without modifing them ? Web control is ok for pdf and jpg file.
>Thanks
