Yes, I wrote a Proc that calculates price based on all sorts of potential discounts and returns a dataset with the results - it saves 8 hits to the database. I wound up creating the business object manually (not difficult, just tediuos). When I thought about it, I figured there was probably no good way for MM to do discovery on the Proc and figure out what would be coming out.

In the future, I think a better solution would be to create a dummy table with the same structure as the output of the Proc and let MM create the business object for me :)
